Welcome to the New Year! The Holidays are wonderful and starting a new year is a great way to move right into the next phase, a fresh start, a new beginning, a revival of sorts. We like it at Green Frog it inspires new thinking, a new outlook, a fresh perspective really. And it signals the coming approach of Spring, I know it is still a ways off, but none the less somewhere a groundhog is going to op her head up and another important date will be upon us. Of course Spring is a signal for fresh growth, new flowers, warmer days and, grass growing and for some lawn mowing.  But for now happy New Year, take advantage of the opportunities it presents for a refreshed and revitalized perspective.

DECEMBER 8 2012

The Holiday shopping season is full on, pedal to the metal, and it will build to the last minute frenzy I for one kinda enjoy. Seems like every year, about December 24th, I tell myself I need to get this done earlier starting next year. And next year rolls around and I am out somewhere on December 24th shopping. Whenever you do your shopping this season please remember those less fortunate, drop something in the Salvation Army pot maybe buy and donate some toys for kids usually your local fire department has a hand on this. Practice random acts of kindness, hold a door open for someone, smile at the frazzled clerk, use your imagination it isn't hard to do really, and lastly I hope you have a happy Christmas and New year, things really do look brighter for the future.

Summer has come and gone, don't know about you but it sure seems to go by quickly to me. America Cup trials start in San Francisco bay today. Trials begin today and according to at least one reporter  viewers can get so clsoe to the action that they can hear the sailors talking, well more likely shouting out. Look for us in the July edition of the Sonoma County Gazette available at many locations throughout Sonoma County. The Gazette is a monthly newspaper with great articles on  each of Sonoma's cities and towns. It is a real great source to find out what is going in Occidental or maybe your want to know something about Kenwood, each town has it's own columnist so even the tiniest gems are revealed for those who want to know. Of course it has some great advertisers too.
